How to play Dr. Mundo
Read the full guide
TopTopUse Q to keep farm reachable, and do not auto-walk to every passive canister; a lot of bad Mundo lanes come from turning a dropped canister into a free trade for the other top laner instead of letting it go and punishing the stomp later
W should be running for the burst that actually decides the trade and recast while you are still in contact, because Mundo feels much weaker when the spell burns on harmless poke and expires before the real damage lands
Good Mundo games often look like side waves becoming a tax on the enemy team, where recalls, dragon setups, and slow rotations keep costing them tower health because his wins are unusually tied to building damage and turret takedowns
Only when the pickup is cheaper than the punish. If the canister drops into the enemy's threat zone, near a stacked wave, or with jungle pressure in the area, let it go and keep your health. The mistake is treating every canister like guaranteed value when good opponents are waiting for that exact step. Look at who controls the space first: if they have to walk up awkwardly to crush it, you can answer with Q, trim the wave, or reset the trade after they commit. If they are happy to hit you for it, the canister already did its job by preventing the first CC.
Dr. Mundo resists the first Immobilizing effect that hits him, instead losing Health and dropping a chemical cannister nearby. Dr. Mundo can pick it up by walking over it, restoring Health and reducing this Ability's Cooldown.Dr. Mundo also has significantly increased Health regeneration.
Dr. Mundo throws an infected bonesaw, dealing damage to the first enemy hit based on their current health and slowing them.
Dr. Mundo electrocutes himself, dealing persistent damage to nearby enemies and storing a portion of damage he takes. At the end of the duration or on Recast, Dr. Mundo deals a burst of damage to nearby enemies. If the burst hit an enemy, he heals a percentage of the stored damage.
Passive - Dr. Mundo gains bonus Attack Damage, increasing based on his max Health.Active - Dr. Mundo slams his “medical” bag into an enemy, dealing additional damage based on his missing Health. If the enemy dies they are swatted away, dealing damage to enemies they pass through.
Dr. Mundo pumps himself with chemicals, instantly healing a percent of his missing Health. He then gains Move Speed and regenerates a portion of his maximum Health over a long duration.
