Jungle
Do not take the whole Q ride by reflex: Rootcaller is best when you walk the gank in first, then choose attack-command to stop at auto range unless the full recast gives you the exact shield-pop or Daisy entry you want
Daisy is a bouncer you pilot, not free damage—put her on the diver or fighter threatening your carry, retarget her after Q if she sticks to the wrong body, and keep Ivern himself far enough back to keep steering her and E cleanly
Ivern’s prep-and-collect clear is buying you an extra answer, not a random visit: recent data and mains texture both point to counterganks, steals, and early skirmish presence around one teammate mattering more than personally cashing early lane kills, while late first-component timings are a real warning sign
When you are behind on Ivern, tighten the game around the teammate who can still cash your kit and stop trying to repair the map everywhere at once. Keep your camps and resets orderly, hover the lane most likely to get attacked, and look for counterganks where the enemy has to step into Daisy and E instead of forcing first-contact plays yourself. In fights, your job gets simpler: root the body that already committed, keep Daisy on the diver or bruiser causing the problem, and stay far enough back to keep steering. You are usually still useful from a deficit if you make the fight about peel, retargeting, and one empowered ally rather than hero plays.
Ivern cannot attack or be attacked by non-epic monsters. Ivern can create magical groves on jungle camps which grow over time. When the grove is fully grown, Ivern may free the monsters to receive gold and experience.
Ivern conjures a vine, dealing damage and rooting enemy targets hit. Ivern's allies can dash to the rooted target.
In brush, Ivern and his nearby allies attacks deal bonus magic damage. Ivern can activate this ability to create a patch of brush.
Ivern places a shield on an ally which explodes after a short duration slowing and damaging enemies. The shield refreshes if it hits no enemies.
Ivern summons his Sentinel friend Daisy to fight with him. Re-cast command Daisy to attack or move.
