How to play Milio
Read the full guide
Play parallel, not trailing: keep Milio, your ADC, and the target in one triangle, and in touchable lanes E yourself while your auto is already in flight so the shield and passive land on the first touch
Pick the W carrier before the fight starts, because Milio’s teamfights get much thinner when the campfire snaps to the wrong body instead of following the teammate who can actually keep hitting through your buffs
Q is not wallpaper poke on Milio—it is often the anti-engage ball that ruins the one dash or hook that would break the trade, and R pays out most when it reopens the fight after the hard CC that was supposed to end your carry’s autos has already landed
Start by choosing the teammate who can keep dealing damage for the next few seconds, not the one who is merely closest or most fed on the scoreboard. In standard front-to-back fights that is usually your ADC, but if your marksman is behind and your jungler or bruiser is the one actually sticking to targets, cast for them on purpose. Make that decision before the fight starts so you do not panic-campfire the wrong body when everyone collapses together. If the fight splits, keep W on the player with repeatable uptime and use E reactively on whoever is actively trading right now.
Milio's abilities enchant allies on touch, making their next damage deal a burst of extra damage and burn the target.
Kick a ball that knocks back an enemy. The ball launches upward on hit and falls toward the enemy, damaging and slowing enemies in the area upon impact.
Create an empowering zone that heals allies and increases attack range to those inside. The zone follows the ally nearest to the cast point.
Milio tosses a shield to an ally, temporarily increasing their movement speed. This ability has 2 charges.
Milio unleashes a wave of soothing flames that heal and remove crowd control effects from allies in range.
