How to play Pantheon
Read the full guide
Preload Mortal Will before you show: walk into fights on four stacks and decide in advance whether empowered W is feeding an empowered Q kill or an empowered E cover, because Pantheon’s support engages are much cleaner when the second empowered cast is scripted before contact
After W, turn E toward the clapback—the support’s return CC, the jungler’s angle, or tower shots—not automatically toward the champion you stunned, because Pantheon wins a lot of all-ins by shielding the answer instead of the victim
Leave bot once it stops offering a believable W: Pantheon support gets paid unusually hard when his first forced contact becomes an off-lane or river/jungle kill, and recent data says he gains more than any common support from both early gold leads and that early map conversion
Roam when bot no longer offers a believable W, not just because the wave is quiet. If poke has taken too much of your health, if the enemy is standing too far back for a real stun start, or if your ADC cannot follow your next jump, stop trying to repair the lane with another forced engage. Base, reload, and look for the next place where Pantheon’s first contact is clean: mid on a reset timer, river before a skirmish fully forms, or a counterplay angle with R. The check is simple: can I still start a real fight here, or am I only walking up to get chipped and leave?
Every few spells or attacks, Pantheon's next spell is empowered.
Pantheon either thrusts his spear or throws his spear in the chosen direction.
Pantheon dashes to a target, damaging and stunning them.
Pantheon sets his shield, becoming invulnerable to damage from the front and striking repeatedly with his spear.
Pantheon composes himself and then leaps into the air, landing at a chosen location as a comet.
