How to play Viktor

Aim E through the last-hit window so one laser trims the wave and tags the champion, because Viktor lane gets real when farming itself starts costing the enemy health.
Viktor’s Q is not an auto reset, so do not mash the empowered hit; start the trade with Q or wait for your attack timer, or you can fumble the shielded return auto that makes his short trades work.
Viktor’s best games are the ones where E augment arrives and the next few fights keep happening through his laser and storm space, and recent data says he converts that 20-30 minute stretch unusually well even without needing a stomped lane.
In most real fights, put R on the champion who is deciding whether the enemy team can keep walking at you, not the dream backliner three steps behind them. If a bruiser, diver, or frontliner is the one entering your space first, storming them usually buys more than forcing an awkward carry ult, because it keeps R ticking where E can keep connecting and where the rest of the enemy team has to path. The exception is when a carry is already exposed or has burned mobility. If you are unsure, ult the body that makes the corridor unsafe for everyone standing behind it.
Viktor gains Hex Fragments whenever he kills an enemy. With every 100 Hex Fragments he obtains, Viktor permanently augments an active ability. After upgrading all of his basic abilities, he can gather 100 Hex Fragments to augment his ultimate ability.
Viktor blasts an enemy unit with magic damage, which grants him a shield and empowers his next basic attack.Augment: Siphon Power's shield is increased by 60% and Viktor gains bonus move speed after casting the Ability.
Viktor conjures a heavy gravitational field that slows enemies caught within its radius. Enemies who stay in the field for too long become stunned.Augment: Viktor's spells apply a slow to enemies.
Viktor uses his biomechanical arm to fire a Hextech Ray that cuts across the field in a line, dealing damage to all enemies in its path.Augment: An explosion follows in the Hextech Ray's wake, dealing magic damage.
Viktor conjures an Arcane Storm on the field, dealing magic damage and interrupting enemy channels. The storm periodically does magic damage to all nearby enemies and can be redirected by Viktor.Augment: The Arcane Storm moves 25% faster, and whenever champions die after taking damage from it, the storm grows and increases in its duration.
